George Town, 9 May 2026 – MM Century Sdn. Bhd. was honoured to participate as the Diamond Sponsor at the Majlis Makan Malam Amal & Bidaan Karya Seni (Charity Dinner & Art Auction) 2026, organised by the Majlis Sukan Negeri Pulau Pinang (MSNPP), contributing RM50,000 towards the MSNPP Sports Development Fund.
The event took place at the Eastern & Oriental Hotel, drawing together sports stakeholders, industry leaders, and strategic partners under MSNPP’s fundraising platform, IMPACT, an initiative dedicated to strengthening Penang’s sports development ecosystem through active corporate and community participation.
The dinner was graced by TYT Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Ramli bin Ngah Talib, Yang di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang Ke-9, whose presence added significant distinction to the occasion and affirmed the state’s highest recognition of MSNPP’s mission.
Also in attendance was YB Daniel Gooi Zi Sen, Penang State Exco for Youth, Sports and Health, representing the state government’s commitment to nurturing high-performing athletes ahead of the Sukan Malaysia (SUKMA) XXII Selangor 2026.
MM Century was represented at the event by Mr. Ashok Kumar, Director of MM Century, who attended the dinner on behalf of the company. His presence reflected MM Century’s commitment to actively engaging with the communities and institutions it serves, beyond its role as a corporate sponsor.
The evening also featured a special art auction, with original artworks created exclusively for the occasion, each piece carrying its own narrative and identity, reflecting the spirit of Penang’s sporting ambitions
YB Daniel Gooi, in his address, expressed his appreciation for MM Century’s involvement, noting that the company’s participation goes beyond financial contribution.
He highlighted the opportunity for MM Century’s environmental expertise to introduce the concept of sustainable sports to Penang’s sports ecosystem, encompassing responsible waste management at sporting events, environmental awareness campaigns targeting athletes, and the promotion of sustainable practices across the state’s sports landscape.
