A Captivating Raya Bowling Galore with Seberang Perai Tengah PDRM and Penang DOE

18th MAY 2024, SEBERANG PERAI – MM Century organised a captivating yet enthralling Raya Aidilfitri Bowling Galore event today. It was held in partnership with Seberang Perai Tengah Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) and Penang Department of Environment (DOE), and sixty-eight participants had a blast at the event.

The event was a testament to the strong bonds within our community, bringing together staff, law enforcement officials and their families for a fun and lively get-together. Hosted at Megamall Perai Bowling Centre, it featured entertaining activities, inspiring speeches by the Director of MM Century, Seberang Perai Tengah PDRM and Director of DOE (JAS) together with various competitive bowling games, a lucky draw and includes a special session gifting hampers and appreciation tokens. 

The bowling competition was not just about the prizes for top scorers in the men’s and women’s categories. The Raya bowling event provided a valuable platform for MM Century, Seberang Perai Tengah PDRM, and Penang DOE to foster connections and build meaningful relationships through networking and collaboration.

The event began with a gracious and uplifting opening address from Mr.Ashok Kumar Rangayah, the Director of MM Century, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Helmi Bin Aris from Seberang Perai Tengah PDRM, and Norazizi Adinan, the Director of the Department of Environment (DOE). Both dignitaries expressed their appreciation for the joint effort in organising the event, highlighting the significance of such initiatives in strengthening the bond between the corporate world and law enforcement agencies.

The day’s main attraction included an exhilarating bowling contest between teams representing MM Century and the skilled officers of the Seberang Perai Tengah PDRM. The atmosphere was filled with energy and good-natured rivalry, with participants demonstrating their impressive bowling abilities while promoting teamwork and unity. Additionally, a thrilling lucky draw offered exciting prizes, adding an element of surprise and anticipation to the festivities.

After an exciting round of bowling games, the long-awaited announcement of the winners was finally revealed. The best team to secure the 1st position is KPL/D Muhammad Zarim, ASP Syahraine, Cik Baageshyree, En.Shamsuddin and En.Kaswadi. While 2nd place went to En. Shahmeer, Cik Hashviny, En Kanageswaran, SM Wan Abd Malik and KPL Shahidan. Last but not least the 3rd position was clinched by team members Pn Mariana Tajuddin, INSP Mohd Syafik, DSP Raja Munawir Shah, Pn. Lalitha and En.Surinder. The Best Individual Male category goes to KPL/D Muhammad Zarim with 386 pins and the respective Best Individual Female category goes to SJN Nurul Asyikin with 261 pins.

In recognition of their unwavering commitment to maintaining law and order, we seized the chance to present the Seberang Perai Tengah PDRM with a beautifully crafted appreciation plaque as a gesture of gratitude. This act represented the company’s profound admiration and appreciation for the police force’s continual dedication and tireless efforts to ensure the safety and security of our community. Also, talk about the plaque to DOE.

Thus, the event wrapped up on a positive and enjoyable note as all attendees were provided with a wonderful high-tea spread inclusive of an assortment of delicious treats. This gathering provided a chance for everyone in MM Century to come together, unwind and engage in valuable discussions while creating meaningful interactions. Our event was triumphant as we grabbed the chance to unite employees, police officers and their families for an exciting day of good companionship while further solidifying the enduring connection between us and the local police station.
